Advantech’s UTC-500 series computers, the 15.6- and 21.5-inch P-CAP models, come with antimicrobial Corning® Gorilla® Glass—tough, scratch-resistant cover glass made with an antimicrobial agent that protects against stain and odor-causing bacteria.

Antimicrobial Corning® Gorilla® Glass is produced by incorporating silver ions (Ag+ ) as an antimicrobial agent into Corning® Gorilla® Glass. It has been proven to show a consistent [3 log (>99.9%)] microbial reduction rate against a broad range of bacteria under the JIS Z 2801 test protocol, an internationally recognized industrial standard test protocol for measuring antibacterial efficacy.
